Question AnsweredPosted by @julian_wmember since Jun 2026

Which spiral notebooks truly lay flat without grinding into your left wrist?

I've tried top-bound Rhodia and Maruman Mnemosyne. Rhodia is fine but the paper is thin for gel ink. What are people using for daily notes?

Top-bound is the answer, but if you want side-bound: flip it and write from the back page forward. The coil ends up on the right.

Mnemosyne 'Basic Style' is thicker than the Rhodia dot pad. No ghosting with a 0.5 gel.
